Past-A
The time is 4:42 AM. Something's amiss, sleep after coming to this country was never a patterned bliss. But this night is/was something different, suddenly there was a sound when I was just about to hit the sack. This was so familiar yet strange in this part of the world
As the bachelor blues of my life continue, I thought of all the things that were so embedded in my life till 3 years ago in hue, the things that were a part of the daily encores, are now confoundly found discourses
- I miss the shuddering sound of the refrigerators (although the new ones dont, we had an old allwyn refrigerator)
- The sound of the chowkidar's lathi at 2 AM .
- The sound of the creaky fan singing a lullaby
- The wait for the bucket to fill during the last hours of alternate day water supply
- The power cut times in the night, the chit chat with neighbors
- The smodering of mosquitoes, I was a proud killer of them, had a reason of social commitement to the killing.
- The solving of Hindu crosswords in bus no 187 while to the college.
- Brandishing the bat and practising a pull shot in the limited widths of my home.
- The exhilirating cricket I played so passionately.
- The ring of our home telephone.
- The first day of a Chiru movie in Sandhya Theatre.
- Footboarding all the way till MJ college.
- Strangely but truly the title song of "Ruthuragalu"
- The sound of news in DD, the chitralahari mascot and of course my pet hate - Shanti swaroop.
- My dad symbolically switching the portico lamp off to call me for dinner when chatting with a few stubborn friends who wouldnt leave.
Endless enlists, only the past lists........

still solving crosswords...may be not getting better, nevertheless, still solving crosswords...
tick these items in the to-do list when you go to Des this summer.. and make up new ones...
And the movies or outings even in the crisis time....(Financial)
Crosswords and myself never crossed each other..Rest are cool.
So, Nostalgic Blues!!!
